We asked Jim to provide us a list of all of his buyers to date so we could see how he handled warranty and after sale service. He got excellent references from those buyers we called. I was down from Anchorage looking for a home and saw Jim's project consisting of a single family residence and a duplex. I bought the single family home in the framing stage and made numerous changes and upgrades while living in Anchorage. Jim accommodated most of my wishes and it turned out absolutely wonderful. All this with only a couple of trips during construction. I'm a Realtor and don't know too many people who could handle custom construction with an out of town buyer quite as efficiently as Jim!

"I appreciated Jim's prompt and courteous attention..."

Jim built this wonderful contemporary metal clad town home in a triplex configuration and I bought the middle unit. He placed the living area on the top floor to take advantage of the light and views of the Fremont Neighborhood. The only problem was that my bedroom (on the middle level) backs up against my neighbor’s living/dining rooms and the sound transfer, while not bad, was more than I wished to live with. Jim agreed to add a layer of sheetrock at no expense to me to alleviate my concerns. He was under no obligation to do this and I appreciated his prompt and courteous attention. By the way, my home was featured in an article in Seattle Weekly. They loved the finishes and contemporary style.
